Why ROAM loves the Fastpack 40

The attention to detail from UD is impressive, and this pack is a prime example. When you're packing 40L of gear, you need every box ticked - and this pack has it all.

The running vest-style fit keeps the pack stable and close to the body, while the accessible front storage means you spend less time stopping and digging around for gear. The roll-top system also makes a noticeable difference — compressing neatly for lighter loads or expanding when extra layers and equipment need to come along.

Sizing

S/M: 66–112cm lower rib measurement
L/XL: 75–135cm lower rib measurement

Measure around the bottom of your ribs while wearing the clothing you expect to use with the pack. Heavier pack loads generally create a closer fit, so if you're between sizes, keep intended load volume in mind.
