The Ultratrail FX.One is built for runners who want speed and support. Designed specifically for trail racing, it combines lightweight construction with more strength (than the superlite version), helping you move confidently across climbs, descents, and technical sections.
It employs the Trail Shark grip system, engineered for trail running and significantly lighter than traditional designs. It creates a direct, secure connection between hand and pole, improving power transfer while reducing fatigue. The Shark Frame Strap Mesh delivers a close, glove-like fit, allowing quick click-in and release with minimal effort—even on the move.
Constructed from high-performance HRC carbon, the shaft offers an excellent balance of stiffness and low weight. Additional grip options, including a grip extension and secondary handle position, provide flexibility when adjusting to steep gradients or changing terrain.
A push-button folding system ensures fast deployment and packs down compactly to 36 cm, making it easy to stow when not in use. On the ground, the lightweight tip and minimalist basket combination provide consistent grip and reduced vibration across varied surfaces.

Service and Repair Highlights
Availability: Repairs are subject to the availability of parts and applicable only to products available in South Africa.
Service Delivery Fee: An upfront fee of R150, including VAT, covers courier/delivery costs to and from the customer or retail outlet.
Assessment and Quote: Your pole is thoroughly assessed, and a detailed quote for the repair is provided before any work commences.
Payment and Repair: Upon acceptance and upfront payment of the quote, we proceed with the necessary repairs, ensuring your pole is returned ready for action.
Timeline and Guarantee: Repairs typically take 7-10 working days, excluding shipping times. We back our repairs with a 30-day guarantee, although we cannot offer guarantees on carbon poles that snap from usage.
3 Month All Breakages Cover
ROAM offers 3-Month All Breakages Cover - this means that any breakages occurring within 3 months from the date of purchase, including those from usage errors.
During this period, we offer free repairs courtesy of Leki, including part replacements that previously incurred charges. After 3 months, the standard repair policy will apply.
